About Nicholas

Author, Teacher and Artist

From an early age Nicholas’s love for reading was apparent. Oftentimes his mother would find him reading Harry Potter under blankets with a flashlight. His insatiable appetite for knowledge led him to debate. Joining his schools Lincoln-Douglas debate team, he led the academies team at the Enrico Fermi Cultural Center. Upon graduation, he was awarded The Sheila Mencher Readers Award for his dedication to reading.

His love for civics developed quickly as he joined the Air Force Jr. ROTC. He adopted their core values, that had a lasting impact for life:

“Integrity first, Service before self, and Excellence in all I do.”

Graduating at the top of his class with honors on scholarship, he attended St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn, N.Y) where he majored in Political Science.

Post grad he navigated the nonprofit world, spending over 10 years championing equity in education.

His in class experience was with Success Academy where he led the entire borough of Queens, NY and developed the pedagogy of their Visual Art Department and Curriculum.

He lives in Westchester, NY where he takes care of his cat and is writing more books for those whose story hasn’t been told yet.
